In an effort to maintain the originality of our website and ensure fairness to our other writers, please send us your original articles only, which have never been published in other websites or blog pages before. This means we want ‘first–time rights’ of publication. Also, if you are using some resource or website to research your article, please mention the resource / website in your footnote clearly.

2. We make payment only upon publication of the blog, story or novel, or as applicable. Though our weekly deadline for receiving blogs is 11:59 PM (IST) and 11:29 AM (PST) every Friday, considering the volume of submissions received, we get back to writers only upon publication of their blog or story.

Otherwise, we retain the blog/ story in our database for reviewing in the forthcoming weeks. We take a lead time of 1 week to 6 weeks.

3. If you don't hear from us by Sunday, that means that we have not selected your blog for the current week and we will review it during the following weeks with other submissions.

4. We send our payments through Paypal, Demand Draft and Direct Account Transfer. Our writers in India are paid through our Citibank NRI account. Please allow 10 business days for the reward amount to reach your bank account or home address. Sending us your accurate bank account information and home address will naturally expedite reward payments.

5. 4IndianWoman.com LLC shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of your providing personal information to any reader or writer through our discussion board or blog comments.

6. Submitting your blogs, stories and novels to 4IndianWoman.com, indicate acceptance of its terms. 4IndianWoman.com LLC will have exclusive ‘first-time rights’ for all publication.

7. For stories and serial novels, 4IndianWoman.com LLC will have ‘all rights’ in electronic and hard copy format with additional ‘anthology rights’. Any unauthorized copying, redistribution, reproduction or modification of the content is strictly prohibited.

8. Submitting stories indicate possibilities of inclusion in Anthology, though not compulsory, in which case, 2 copies of the publication will be sent to the author. The stories, if and when published, will be under author bylines with bio-data. For Novels, we offer royalties as applicable upon publication, if and when published, and 3 copies of the same.

9. Our new guidelines for submission of blogs, include ‘first-time electronic rights’ for a three-month period. After a three-month period from date of publication, the rights revert back to the author of the blog, and she may submit the same elsewhere. However, we require that the same include a link-back to the original webpage where the blog has been published on our website.
